Role: |
The primary role of this position is to serve as the operational lead for daily, weekly, and monthly marketing activities that support the Credit Union's strategic goals, membership growth, brand awareness, and community presence. The Marketing & Communications Manager oversees the day-to-day execution of marketing initiatives from planning through completion, ensuring projects are well-organized, coordinated, and delivered on time. Responsibilities include establishing project plans and timelines; coordinating with internal departments and external vendors; developing content and creative; reviewing deliverables for quality and accuracy; prioritizing action items and monitoring progress; and evaluating campaign performance. The role requires strong project management, communication, organizational, creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to balance multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain excellent attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. |

Essential Functions & Responsibilities: |
E | 25% | Oversee the day-to-day marketing workflow, project pipeline, and campaign schedules, establishing priorities and timelines, coordinating assignments and resources among Marketing team members, vendors, and other participants to keep projects moving forward and on time. Identify and implement methods for process improvement and efficiency. |
| E | 25% | Lead the planning, development, coordination, review, execution, and evaluation of marketing creative, communications, campaigns, and assets. Provide daily guidance, support, and constructive feedback to ensure deliverables are effective and of high quality. |
| E | 15% | Manage and coordinate the Credit Union’s marketing & advertising delivery channels, including web, social, email, digital, interna and external communications, and other owned and paid channels, as well as related vendor partnerships, to ensure engaging and accurate content, strong brand representation, seamless functionality, and the timely, budget-conscious execution of advertising and marketing communications. Leads internal communications via email, video and Intranet and department staff huddles of marketing promotions, products, ads about CFFCU. |
| N | 10% | Track and report on marketing activities, campaigns, and performance metrics. Maintain marketing calendars, logs, records, and other documentation as needed. Help develop marketing reports, executive briefs, and maintain department dashboard inputs. |
| N | 10% | Collaborate with departments and leadership across the Credit Union to identify marketing and communication needs, develop solutions, and ensure initiatives are effectively communicated and executed. |
| N | 10% | Assist with events, community initiatives, and Credit Union activities. |
| N | 5% | Performs other duties as assigned. |

1. | To practice, promote, and support the Vision, Mission, and Core Values of the CU and to ensure they are carried out by each employee. |
| 2. | Meet all project deadlines and quality standards set by the President/CEO in coordination with the VP of Marketing. |
| 3. | Assist in growing and cultivating the market share of the financial centers. Market share must grow by a minimum amount set by the VP of Marketing. |
| 4. | Must be well versed in Regulations such as: REG CC, BSA, OFAC, Reg B, Reg Z and MIP (CIP). |

Knowledge and Skills: |
Experience | Five to ten years of similar or related experience. Must have experience in staff supervision. |
|
|
Education | Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field is preferred. At minimum, candidates should have either a two-year degree, marketing-related certification, or a minimum of five years of related work experience if they do not have a degree or certification. |
|
|
Interpersonal Skills | Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of building relationships and cooperation in accomplishing goals. Communication requires diplomacy, tact, clarity, and a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion. |

Other Skills | The following experience is Preferred, but Not Required: Hubspot, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Social Media Management Platform, Website CMS, Google Analytics, Marketing Automation, Digital Marketing Tools, SEO & SEM, AI Tools, Graphic Design Principles, Video Editing, Project Management Platform, Email, and External Communications. |

Physical Requirements | The nature of this position requires physical mobility, vision, and hearing. Must be able to sit, move over long distances, talk, hear, visually see details up close, remain focused, and able to lift at least 30 pounds. |

Work Environment | Work is primarily performed in a professional office environment with regular interaction with employees, vendors, community partners, and other external contacts. Occasional travel, event participation, and work outside normal office hours (weekends and evenings) may be required. Full-time employees are required to complete (16) hours of volunteerism, either through Credit Union organized efforts or through other organizations of your choice. |
