Position Purpose:
In this opportunity you will work within the Global Custom Commerce business unit at The Home Depot. You will play a key role in driving our brand strategy and will be responsible for the marketing function of the legacy brands as well as collaborating on broader initiatives within the larger Home Depot Marketing Team.
The Senior Manager, Content Program Management will manage a team of Marketing managers and Copywriters. This individual will work closely with the Media and merchandising teams to create content strategies and plans that achieve specific business goals by utilizing industry/customer trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- 40% Communication and Alignment: Increase communication across content supply chain stakeholders - keeping everyone aligned & aware of any changes or risks to content delivery. Conduct frequent check-ins with all stakeholders. Communicate progress, demonstrate the operations of new features/functionality, collect feedback & identify gaps.
- 25% Develop Partnerships: Deep understanding of the Content Supply Chain and CMS infrastructure that affects content development and deployment. Partner with product management to help drive prioritization of key features and functionality needed to create and distribute content.
- 25% Content Creation: Oversee a team of content creators charged with developing informational article content that is on-brand and SEO-optimized. Develop and maintain editorial calendars for content creation. Partner with Earned Media, Category Experience and other marketing teams to priortizie content requests and intake process. Publish articles via CMS application.
- 10% Stakeholder Management: Increase communication across the content supply chain stakeholders - keeping everyone aligned and aware of any changes or risks to content delivery. Conduct frequent check-ins with all stakeholders. Communicate progress, demonstrate the operations of new features/functionality, collect feedback and identify gaps.
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- This position reports to the Director, Creative HDC.
- This position has 6 direct reports.
Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of relevant work experience and background in content creation
- PMP certification Demonstrated success building buy-in for innovation
- Excellent business operations, project management, analytical, needs requirement & organizational skills, quick learner, IT literacy, numeracy, initiative, problem solving, rigor & attention to detail.
- Excellent client service, communication & change management, collaboration, negotiation & influencing skills to manage diverse groups to reach successful outcomes.
- Knowledge of E-commerce KPIs and Technology
- Able to work independently, be a collaborative team player, with excellent time management & prioritization skills, able to manage a heavy workload, multiple tasks, competing priorities & tight deadlines, maintaining complete control over process at all times.
- Experience developing and supevising a copy and/or design team with progressive managerial experience.
