
Christ Church Cathedral (CCC) is seeking a Digital Communications Coordinator to be part of a dynamic Communications team. This full-time position oversees and manages CCC's streaming services platforms, website pages, and social media accounts for daily weekday events and occasional weekend special events and weekly Sunday services. This position requires a creative individual that is adept at creating and curating engaging digital content, responding to social media comments and messages, as well as utilizing social media platforms to share event information and advance the mission of sharing the Gospel.
The Digital Communications Coordinator is responsible for effectively broadcasting the church's activities to connect our parishioners and community. In addition to the digital media duties, this position has the opportunity to support the Communications Department through writing and content creation. This role is a valuable member of the team and works frequently with all staff members. The ideal candidate would be highly organized, a team player, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. The Cathedral is willing to adjust the roles of the position to meet the skill sets of an attractive candidate who can best support the Director of Communications.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Manage Cathedral's social media accounts (primarily but not limited to Facebook and Instagram), including daily posting and event uploading, responding to comments and messages.
Develop and maintain a social media content calendar
Routine or moderate website/page maintenance & updating
Routine or moderate Cathedral App maintenance.
Moderate video editing using Adobe Creative Suite, including editing, level adjustment, and compression.
Creation of weekly presentation slides and outlines in preparation for livestream Sunday worship services.
Coordination of weekly/monthly livestream service needs (including but not limited to): coordinate contract a/v technician, set up webpage, create Vimeo event, and monitor event. Light photo editing in Photoshop. Upload, tag and file photography to in-house searchable photo archive.
Manage Cathedral Vimeo/Youtube account. Monitor analytics and report on content marketing metrics.
Track and report weekly service attendance numbers.
