The Marketing & Events Specialist plays a vital role in promoting our school’s mission and enhancing our visibility through strategic marketing, digital engagement, and event promotion. This position involves developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns, managing our digital and social media platforms, creating impactful content, and planning signature events that connect with and engage our community. The Marketing & Events Specialist collaborates with internal teams and external partners to ensure cohesive messaging, innovative outreach, and smooth event execution. Ideal candidates are creative, results-driven, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Required Education and Required Experience
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
Four years of professional experience in marketing.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with event marketing, event promotion, or event planning.
Experience managing social media channels for organizations or brands.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong editing and proofreading abilities.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Experience with email marketing, web content management systems (e.g., WordPress), and digital advertising.
Understanding of marketing principles, including digital, print, and event marketing strategies.
Talent for event planning and logistical coordination.
Responsibilities:
Marketing Campaign Execution
Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns across email, web, social media, print, and digital advertising.
Manage campaign timelines and content calendars; coordinate with creative and communications colleagues.
Track and report on marketing campaign and event metrics; share insights and recommendations for optimization with the Director and team.
Digital & Social Media Management
Lead and grow the organization’s social media channels by producing/scheduling engaging content and monitoring trends.
Collaborate with the Creative Services Specialist to develop graphics, videos, and multimedia assets.
Analyze digital performance data and provide actionable insights for improvement
Content Development & Coordination
Develop compelling marketing copy for newsletters, campaigns, web pages, advertisements, and event materials.
Event Planning & Execution
Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of EnMed-sponsored events—including conferences, seminars, workshops, mixers, community outreach initiatives, and other internal school events requiring logistical support—as assigned by the Director of Marketing and Communications.
Coordinate event logistics (venue, catering, AV, décor, signage, vendors) and manage timelines, budgets, and registrations.
Communicate with attendees, speakers, and special guests; oversee event committees and volunteers.
Provide onsite management and conduct post-event evaluations and reporting.
Audience Engagement & Growth
Develop tactics to grow and nurture the organization’s audiences, including email list management and community outreach.
Identify and implement strategies to increase audience engagement across platforms.
Ensure all content is consistent with brand guidelines and resonates with target audiences.
